一、Warm-up  3’

T: Good morning ,boys and girls. How are you? What’s the weather like today?

Today we’ll study Module 9 Unit 1.

Look at the aims first.

Let’s sing a song together <Children from China are Chinese.>

二、Presentation.3’

Children from China are Chinese.

Children from England are English.

Children from Australia are Australians.

出示单词卡,反复朗读,比较朗读,考验孩子快速反应。

Yes, this is a new word--Australian.

Australia is a country.

People in Australia are Australians.

ppt: Children from China are Chinese.

    Children from Australia are Australians.

板书:Australia  Australian (单词卡教学,比较读,快速反应)

PPt:Joe 的图片

T: Look at this picture. It’s Joe. Joe is from Australia. He is an Australian.

In China, we speak Chinese. In Australia, they speak…

S: …

They speak English.

Chinese and English are languages.

学习language ,单词卡教学,大小声,单个读等

Joe is in Australia now.He sent us a map.Look!

This is a map of Australia(3-5个同学读)

We can also say an Australian map.

ppt:a map of Australia=an Australian map(分别出现,反复练习)

二、Text 20’

T: Amy and Lingling are talking about Australia,Amy likes Australia very much. Now, let’s listen and answer “Why does Amy like Australia?”

1. 播放动画音频,回答问题。3‘’

ppt: Why does Amy like Australia?  Because she loves Australian animals.

学习because,单词卡教学

而后出示句型板书

When we use “Why” to ask questions,we always use “because” to answer.

2.播放课文动画,回答问题3’

ppt: What animals does Amy love?   She loves kangaroos and koalas.

    Why does Amy like them? Because they are very, very cute.

反复练习I love kangaroos. I love koalas.
